Earthwork Contractor for Jewar, Yamuna Expressway & Greater Noida

Greenfield plots measured in acres, not square metres, need fleet depth. Our largest earthwork reference is the Jewar Project: approximately 24 lakh m³ of excavation and earthwork.

24 lakh m³: what that takes

The Jewar Project is the largest volume on our project list: approximately 24 lakh m³ of excavation and earthwork. Moving that much earth is less about any single machine and more about keeping a whole system running: many excavators loading at once, a large tipper fleet on planned haul routes, graders and rollers keeping pace on the filling side, water tankers on every haul road, and supervision tracking levels across a large site.

That is the experience we bring to industrial, logistics, institutional and township plots along the Yamuna Expressway and in Greater Noida.

Ground and site conditions

Greenfield land, greenfield problems

  • Low-lying agricultural land: many plots sit below the road or the planned formation level and need substantial filling, placed and compacted in layers.
  • Topsoil and soft layers: cultivated topsoil and soft, organic surface layers are usually stripped before filling, as the specification requires.
  • Monsoon waterlogging: flat land drains slowly. Temporary drainage and the sequence of filling matter if work runs into the rains.
  • Material balance: cut and fill rarely balance on a flat site, so borrow material, its source and its approvals often decide the programme.
  • Long hauls and open access: distances are longer, but plots are open, which suits large matched sets of excavators, tippers, graders and rollers.
Rules and permissions

YEIDA, GNIDA and material approvals

Land allotment and building approvals along the Yamuna Expressway come under the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA); in Greater Noida they come under the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority. Bringing in earth from outside the plot, or removing it, can require permissions under state rules for minor minerals and transport, and NCR dust-control rules and GRAP apply here too.

These permissions normally stay with the owner or main contractor unless the contract says otherwise. We plan borrow, haulage and compaction within them, and size the fleet to the approved material plan.

Greater Noida

Basements and plots in Greater Noida

Greater Noida combines both kinds of work: large industrial, warehousing and institutional plots that need levelling and filling, and group-housing basements, particularly in Greater Noida West. Ground conditions there are much like Noida's alluvial strata. We cover it from our Sector 68 Noida office with the same fleet. A separate Greater Noida page is not needed because the service, fleet and team are shared with this corridor.

Projects we take: 2,000 sqm+ plots. We take basement excavation for builder and developer projects with plots of about 2,000 sqm and above in Greater Noida and Greater Noida West.

Running a large site

How we keep a big earthwork site moving

On a site the size of the Jewar Project, progress comes from organisation as much as from machines. We split the site into working zones, each with its own loading points, haul routes and filling fronts, so sets of excavators, tippers, graders and rollers do not get in each other's way. Haul roads are graded and sprinkled every shift. Progress is measured against agreed levels, so the client can see the volume moved, not just the hours worked. Where one zone is held up, by rain, a pending approval or a design change, the fleet moves to another zone instead of standing idle. We bring the same zoning approach, scaled down, to a 20- or 50-acre plot.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

What earthwork have you done around Jewar?

Our project list includes the Jewar Project, with approximately 24 lakh m³ of excavation and earthwork, our largest volume to date.

Can you take up filling for low-lying plots?

Yes. We take up filling and levelling with compaction in layers to the specified density, using our excavators, tippers, graders, rollers and water tankers.

Do you supply the filling earth?

Where the contract includes it, borrow material is arranged subject to the approvals that apply under state rules. Often the owner provides the source and permissions, and we handle the excavation, haulage and compaction.

Do you work in Greater Noida West?

Yes. We take up basement excavation and earthwork in Greater Noida and Greater Noida West from our Noida office.

How is bulk earthwork measured?

Usually by cubic metre from joint level surveys before and after the work, as per the BOQ. Machine-hire arrangements are also possible.

How quickly can you mobilise a large fleet?

That depends on fleet allocation at the time and the size of the set. Share the plot area, quantity and start window and we will give you a realistic mobilisation plan.
