Driver
Tippers are deployed with drivers, as confirmed in the quote, who follow your site traffic plan and banksman signals.
Tipper trucks with drivers for basement muck disposal, earth shifting and material haulage across NCR, from a fleet of 100+ tipper / Hyva units that we also run on our own packages.
On NCR sites "Hyva" is the common word for a hydraulic tipper truck, after the tipping-hydraulics brand found on many of them. "Dumper" and "tipper" usually mean the same thing: a truck whose body tips to unload earth, muck, debris or aggregate. Body sizes and axle configurations vary. The class we allocate is matched to your loading machine, the haul road and the route, and confirmed in the quote.
We run 100+ tipper / Hyva units. They move the muck from our own basements and bulk earthwork, so they work in a planned cycle with excavators rather than as stray trucks waiting at the gate.

The number of tippers is set by the cycle, not the excavator. One cycle is loading time, haul to the dump point, unloading, and the return trip. A short in-site haul to a filling area may need only a few trucks per excavator. A long haul through city traffic to a distant disposal point can need many more to keep the same excavator busy.
Share the haul distance, the route, the dump point and your working hours, and we will suggest a matched number of tippers, or a full set with an excavator, so neither machines nor trucks stand idle.
| Haul type | What drives the tipper count | Typical uses |
|---|---|---|
| Within the site | Ramp gradient, internal haul road condition | Cut-to-fill, stockpiling, levelling |
| Short external haul | Gate exit, local traffic, unloading at the destination | Disposal to a nearby permitted point, filling a neighbouring plot |
| Long external haul | Distance, vehicle time windows, queueing at the dump point | Basement muck disposal in city areas |
Muck transport and disposal permissions, and the choice of dump point, normally stay with the owner or main contractor unless the contract says otherwise. If you need help planning disposal, levelling or filling, see muck disposal & site filling.

Per shift, per month or per trip, as confirmed in the quote for the job.
Included or client-supplied, as confirmed in the quote, along with how it is recorded.
Trip slips or log sheets signed by your site team every shift.
Tipper output is often lost inside the site, not on the road. A rutted ramp, a single-lane exit or a loading point without room to turn can halve the trips per shift. We help plan the haul road, keep it graded and sprinkled, and set a clear loading and queueing pattern with your site team, so trucks arrive at the excavator in turn instead of bunching at the gate.
On most NCR sites the terms are used interchangeably for a hydraulic tipper truck. "Hyva" comes from a tipping-hydraulics brand; "dumper" and "tipper" describe what the truck does.
Either, depending on the job. Long-running basements are usually agreed per shift or per month; defined haulage can be agreed per trip. The basis is confirmed in the quote.
The disposal destination and the permissions for it normally stay with the owner or main contractor. Where the contract includes disposal, we plan haulage to the permitted destination.
Many sites haul at night because daytime traffic and vehicle restrictions slow the cycle. Night haulage depends on the permissions held for the project and the rules on the route.
Yes. We run 50+ excavators alongside the tipper fleet and can supply a matched excavator-and-tipper set sized to your haul.
Loads are covered as required, exits are cleaned where the site provides wheel washing, and our water tankers can sprinkle haul roads.
