Durga Buildwell Pvt. Ltd. works out of 507, 5th Floor, Pegasus Tower, Block A-10, Sector 68, Noida. Our excavators, tippers, graders and rollers already work on Noida sites, so a new project here usually means shorter mobilisation, teams who know the local roads, and a business team close by.

These are approximate figures from our project list. At IKEA Noida our scope was excavation and earthwork; the Sobha excavation is still running. At the Adani Data Centre in Sector 62 our scope was barricading and prefab buildings rather than earthwork, which shows we can carry a site from boundary to basement.

What Noida sites usually throw at you

Noida sits on the alluvial plain between the Yamuna and the Hindon. Excavations commonly pass through silty sand, sandy silt and clay layers rather than rock, which makes the digging itself straightforward. The real constraints are water, edges and logistics:

• Groundwater: in sectors closer to the river floodplains the water table can be relatively shallow, so deep basements may need dewatering and a retaining system such as D-wall or piles. Your soil investigation report decides this, not a rule of thumb.
• Loose sandy layers: cut faces in sandy strata need proper slopes, benches or support, particularly before and during the monsoon.
• Neighbours and roads: many group-housing and commercial plots now sit beside occupied towers and busy sector roads, which affects ramp location, tipper exit and working hours.
• Disposal distance: as Noida builds out, permitted dump points get further away, so tipper numbers have to be planned from the start.

Working within Noida's framework

Building plans and site regulation in Noida come under the Noida Authority. Like the rest of NCR, Noida sites follow dust-control requirements and the air-quality action plan (GRAP), which can restrict construction and earthmoving at higher pollution stages. Muck transport, night work and disposal also need the right permissions. These normally stay with the owner or main contractor; we plan our shifts, haulage and sprinkling within them, and keep water tankers on haul roads as part of the set.
