Who this page is for

Built for teams with real basement scope

Deep and multi-level basement packages need more than machines on site. They need sequence, access planning, level control, safe working fronts and reliable tipper cycles. This page is for decision-makers with live or upcoming basement work in Delhi-NCR.

Projects we take: 2,000 sqm+ plots. We take basement excavation for builder and developer projects with plots of about 2,000 sqm and above across Delhi NCR.
01

Real-estate developers

Group housing, commercial, mixed-use and institutional projects with basement or podium excavation.

02

EPCs & infrastructure contractors

Teams that need a dependable basement and deep excavation partner inside a larger package.

03

Main contractors

A reliable earthwork subcontractor for the basement package, working to your programme and controls.

04

PMC & consultant teams

Coordinating excavation methodology, mobilisation and sequencing on behalf of the client.

We usually engage when you can share at least one of these: the site location in NCR, approximate excavation quantity or depth, GA/section drawings, a BOQ extract, or a planned start window.

Not the right fit: a single machine for a day with no site details, or work outside a construction-project context.
Project experience: the Jewar Project (approx. 24 lakh m³), IKEA Gurugram (approx. 9 lakh m³), IKEA Noida (approx. 7.5 lakh m³) and Sobha Rivana (approx. 4.5 lakh m³, ongoing) in excavation and earthwork; Adani Data Centre, Sector 62 Noida — barricading & prefab buildings (approx. ₹48 Cr); plus Parliament work, PMO office and Secretariat office in New Delhi, and sites for Prestige (NH 24, and Sector 150 Noida, ongoing), Max Estates and Gaursons Group. See our projects.
Scope

Basement excavation scope we support in NCR

  • Multi-level and deep basement excavation for residential and commercial developments
  • Bulk cut, loading and disposal coordination as per project and municipal norms
  • Ramp planning, access management and safe working-front sequencing
  • Level, slope and formation control aligned to drawings and site instructions
  • Coordination with the retaining or shoring works contractor where the main package requires it
  • Site reporting suitable for developer, EPC and main-contractor coordination

Packages we often combine with basement work: bulk earthwork, controlled demolition for pre-excavation clearance, and machinery hire for peak production windows.

Process

How we approach basement excavation

01

Scope intake & qualification

We collect location, depth or area and quantities, drawings or BOQ (if available), start window and company type, so response time stays focused on executable projects.

02

Site assessment & methodology

Based on access, soil and disposal constraints (as advised by the client or consultant) and the programme, we outline a practical sequence: ramps, working fronts and tipper logistics.

03

Fleet & team mobilisation

Excavators, tippers and support equipment are planned against production targets and site constraints.

04

Daily execution discipline

PPE-led practices, supervision and day-wise coordination, so progress stays visible to the client's site team.

05

Levels, handover & close-out

Work progresses towards agreed levels and handover expectations under the main contractor's or consultant's quality framework.

06

Reporting

Simple, regular progress updates aligned to your project controls and revision discipline.

Safety

Safety & site discipline

Basement pits amplify risk if slopes, access, barricading and machine movement are poorly managed. Our operating principle is Execution First — Safety • Quality • Productivity. On basement fronts that typically means:

  • PPE and supervised machine movement
  • Barricading and clear working fronts
  • Dust control and housekeeping discipline where applicable
  • Coordination with the client's EHS requirements and site rules
Fleet

Fleet that keeps basement cycles moving

Productivity in NCR basements is often limited by loading–haul–dispose cycles and site access, not only by dig rate. That is why tipper depth matters as much as excavator count.

100+Tipper / Hyva
50+Excavators
20+Graders
30+Rollers

Excavators handle excavation, trenching, loading and formation; tippers and Hyvas carry high-volume soil movement; graders and rollers support formation and compaction where the package includes site development. Support equipment includes 15+ water tankers for dust suppression, plus DG sets and diesel tankers.

Locations

NCR geographies we prioritise

  • Noida, Greater Noida and the Yamuna Expressway corridor
  • Gurugram, Manesar and the Dwarka Expressway belt
  • Delhi, subject to access, permissions and package fit
  • Ghaziabad, Faridabad and adjoining NCR nodes
  • Large packages nearby, including the Jewar corridor where we already have project presence

Our project experience on the projects page includes the Jewar Project (approx. 24 lakh m³), IKEA Gurugram (approx. 9 lakh m³), IKEA Noida (approx. 7.5 lakh m³) and Sobha Rivana (approx. 4.5 lakh m³, ongoing). For deep basements we can also take up D-wall and piling with the excavation. Pan-India earthwork remains available for scoped packages; this page is intentionally NCR basement-first.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

What size of project do you take for basement excavation?

We take basement excavation for builder and developer projects with plots of about 2,000 sqm and above, from single-tower basements to large multi-level packages. Share the plot area, number of basement levels and depth with your enquiry.

Do you take basement excavation jobs only in Noida?

Noida and the wider Delhi-NCR are our highest priority for basement packages. We also mobilise for scoped projects beyond NCR when the volume, access and programme make operational sense.

What information do you need before a site visit?

Location, approximate depth or quantity, planned start and company type. A BOQ extract or basement GA/section drawings speed up the methodology discussion.

Can you work as a subcontractor under a main contractor or EPC?

Yes. Many basement packages run as an earthwork subcontract under main contractors and EPCs. Share the package boundary, exclusions and programme with your enquiry. See our EPC earthwork subcontract page.

How do you handle excavated soil disposal?

Disposal and dump arrangements are planned as per project instructions, permissions and local norms. Please share any mandated dump locations or restrictions in the enquiry.

Is machine-only hire available for basement work?

Machine hire is available. For deep basement packages we usually recommend an execution package (machines, operators, supervision and tipper cycles) so production and safety stay aligned. Hire enquiries should still include location and duration.

What is the best way to contact you about a live NCR basement?

Call +91 72900 97096, email Crm1@durgabuildwell.com, or use the enquiry form on this page with scope details. WhatsApp works best for concise project facts such as location, depth and start date.

How is basement excavation priced in Noida and Gurugram?

Usually per cubic metre as per the BOQ. The rate depends on depth, strata, the disposal lead, shoring and dewatering sequence and the working hours allowed. We do not publish a rate list; share the plot size, depth and location and we quote against your scope.

Which excavator size do you use for basement excavation?

For most NCR basements the 20–22 tonne class (PC210 / EX200-class) does the bulk digging and loading, with a rock breaker, a JCB for edges and ramps, and enough tippers to keep the excavators loading. The final set is confirmed in the quote.
